Installation and Program Requirements

SpaceMan is a 32 bit Windows based application program and will run on Microsoft Windows 98/NT/2000/XP

The minimum requirements for running SpaceMan are:

 Pentium III Processor

128 MB of RAM required (256 MB recommended)

Up to 50 MB of hard disk space for installation

Due to the fact that SpaceMan is a graphic application, the more power that your computer has the better. Almost equally important is the availability of RAM.

To Install SpaceMan:

Place the CD in your CD-ROM drive. Select "Install SpaceMan."

Follow the prompts of the installation program.

SpaceMan requires a User ID along with a password. Your system administrator can set up your access. See also Defining User Privileges/Administrative Rights

When Data is Saved in SpaceMan

When you bring a floor plan up in SpaceMan, it actually creates a small copy of the database on your local machine for that working "session." When you leave the floor plan (either by calling up a new one or closing the software) SpaceMan will ask you if you want to save your work on that floorplan. If you are using the Pro version of SpaceMan, it will ask you if you want to save any administrative changes that you might have made before closing SpaceMan.
